Net Zero Neighbourhood Architecture Winners!

Last night we won the Architect Pitch for The Net Zero Neighbourhood.

Hosted by Archiboo and Max Fordham LLP the brief asked for architects to re-imagine the future of neighbourhoods in the face of the climate and biodiversity emergency through innovative net zero neighbourhood architecture.

It's great to win, but it's even better to get to hang out with brilliant like-minded industry folk and to see all the varied and interesting approaches to net zero neighbourhood architecture from the other architects. But, the biggest take out was that we have the ideas, technology and will to act (and already are) but we need to bring others with us: housebuilders, government, some clients etc.

We also got a special look at the exhibition at the Building Centre, about Max's life and work. It's well worth a visit.

A huge thank you to Archiboo & Max Fordham and to the panel and everyone involved in organising.

The six other architects were competing for net zero neighbourhood architecture were:

Archio
Ben Adams Architects
Hudson Architects
Jas Bhalla Architects
Stolon Studio
Transition by Design Co-operative

The panel:
Ali Shaw (Max Fordham)
Sunand Prasad (Penoyre Prasad)
Amrita Mahindroo (Droo)
Fran Williams (AJ)
David Stronge (Peabody)
